Frequently asked questions

Common questions about inventory in Medzelo.

Can Medzelo track product expiry dates?

Yes. Record batch numbers and expiry dates when goods arrive. Medzelo flags batches that are expiring soon and gives you an expiry report.

How do low stock alerts work?

Set a reorder level for each stock item. When stock is at or below that level, the item is flagged as low stock so you can reorder in time.

Can I manage suppliers and purchase orders?

Yes. Keep a supplier list, create purchase orders for the items you need and receive goods against the order. Receiving updates stock and batches.

Does it handle retail products as well as consumables?

Yes. Stock items can be consumables used in treatments or retail products you sell, each with its own SKU and stock level.

Can I move stock between locations?

Not yet. Transfers of stock between locations are on our roadmap.
